​​History of foundation and development

Dong Nai Trade Promotion Center, formerly known as Trade and Tourism Promotion Section belonging to Dong Nai Trade and Tourism Department, was established under Decision No. 4244/QD-UBND dated April 28, 2006 of the Provincial People's Committee. Dong Nai and officially put into operation since October 2006.

According to Decision No. 987/QD-UBND dated March 28, 2008 of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee on merging Department of Industry with Department of Trade and Tourism into Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade. To accommodate the new organizational structure, on April 23, 2008, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued Decision No. 1302/QD-UBND on renaming and transforming the Dong Nai Tourism and Trade Promotion Center into Dong Nai Trade Promotion, under Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade

Implementing Decision No. 1951/QD-UBND dated June 9, 2021 of Dong Nai People's Committee on promulgating regulations on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Dong Nai Trade Promotion Center. The organization merged 02 sections (Exhibition Section and Market Development Section into Trade Promotion Section).
