The Prime Minister hoped that France would continue to support medical equipment and transfer technology to produce drugs to treat COVID-19 and help improve Vietnam's medical capacity.

The two leaders exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual concern. Towards the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam-France Strategic Partnership in 2023, the two leaders agreed to jointly develop an annual plan with specific tasks to do. further deepen the strategic partnership relationship. The two leaders highly appreciated the effective cooperation between the two countries in the fields of politics, diplomacy, economy, security - defense, culture, health, science, education - training. , law and justice, cooperation between localities. France welcomes and is ready to coordinate with Vietnam to prepare for the 12th Vietnam-France Cooperation Conference in Hanoi at the end of 2022.

The two leaders emphasized the need to further strengthen the pillars of economic, trade and investment cooperation in the Vietnam-France Strategic Partnership, and agreed on directions and measures for cooperation in the coming time. in order to create more favorable conditions for trade exchanges between the two countries, to support businesses and goods of the two countries to penetrate each other's markets; agreed to promote cooperation projects in key fields such as transportation, infrastructure, agriculture, environment, energy and aeronautics and space; together towards building long-term industrial partnerships on the basis of high technology transfer and mutual benefit, especially in areas where France has strengths and Vietnam has needs such as high technology, clean energy, organic agriculture, digital technology...

The French President assessed the vibrant cultural exchange and cooperation between the two countries as a bright spot in the bilateral relationship and emphasized the important role of the cultural centers of the two countries in Vietnam and France; The two sides hope that the two sides will continue to create favorable conditions for the activities of the French Institute in Vietnam as well as the Vietnam Cultural Center in France. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh agreed with the French President's opinion, and asked France to maintain and further promote health projects, especially with the increasing risk of epidemics. Besides, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the French teaching program and taught in French in Vietnam; I hope that France will create more favorable conditions for students to exchange, study and research in France, increase the number of scholarships and step up support to train public administrative staff for Vietnam.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated France's coordination at multilateral forums, especially during Vietnam's role as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. bridge to further strengthen the relationship between Vietnam as well as ASEAN with the EU, especially when France prepares to take over the EU President in January 2022. President Macron said France is ready to strengthen cooperation in the development of a sustainable seafood industry with Vietnam and promised to consider pushing the European Commission (EC) to soon remove the "yellow card" warning for Vietnamese seafood. .

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also shared the results of the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation attending the 26th Summit of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26) in the UK, notifying Vietnam. committed to developing and implementing strong policies and measures, and promoting international cooperation, including implementing mechanisms under the Paris Agreement, to achieve net zero emissions. in 2050; I hope that developed countries, including France, will continue to support Vietnam in this field.
